KPI (Key Performance Indicator). CTR (Click-Through Rate). MPS (Measured Impressions). PPC (Pay-Per-Click). And - our favorite - SIA (Segmentation Impact Analysis). None of these things can actually predict sales, or actively show what’s actually happening in the marketplace - or your bottom line. But it looks great on paper.

Social Media is overrun with ad posts using the same shameless two-dimensional amateur videos with almost identical graphics, music, and style that are easy for consumers to spot and even easier to dismiss. And should a consumer actually hit the LIKE button, it’s almost meaningless, because they’ve been conditioned to click it. Sure, “LIKES” give your business a quick dopamine rush, but there’s little value if they don’t convert. And no actual growth.
