PROVIDENCE PALLIATIVE CARE
THE CARE WE GIVE

It took a gentle camera, patient listening, and the understanding that dignity is never a small detail.
The Evening Shades perform “Paisley” in a cinematic music video that blends an intimate full-band performance with surreal, dreamlike imagery.
Directed by Gene Carlisle, Creatice Director at ZanderGrey, the video surrounds the band’s melodic indie-rock sound with vintage suits, classic microphones, warm practical lighting, and a moody mid-century setting. Stylized hallway sequences and carefully composed performance footage give “Paisley” a distinctive visual identity—part retro television appearance, part modern alternative-music film.
With its atmospheric production design, expressive cinematography, and understated storytelling, “Paisley” demonstrates how a strong visual concept can capture a band’s personality and turn a live musical performance into a memorable cinematic experience.

THE EVENING SHADES
PAISLEY
Give a genuinely talented band a great original song, add cameras, atmosphere and just the right amount of visual mischief, and PAISLEY starts to take shape. We built the video around Mark Thales’ songwriting and The Evening Shades’ musicianship - because when the song already has swagger, the pictures had better keep up. This one goes to 11.
